Of course you can attend one of our many digs with other members or even go and get yourself your very own permission. That’s the key, make sure you have permission. Whilst obtaining permissions can be hard there is still the beaches you can detect without the hassle.
I have provided a list below of all Cornwall council beaches that you can metal detect without the need to obtain any permissions or permits. I hope you find this list helpful.

- Portreath (only right hand side of watercourse is owned by CC)
- Widemouth (only North of Black Rock is permitted)

- Whipsiderry (but not on the cliffs)
