When searching for land for our digs we do our best to put you as close to as much history as we can legally in the hope you find summit, that’s all we can do. But as everyone knows it’s a game of luck, You may or may not find anything. It’s more about being out in the stunning countryside searching, hoping and meeting great people.
Other than myself, the admin and group moderators are free to remove and ban users they believe are being critical of us, our digs, or the group, and I fully endorse and support their decisions.
Facebook group rules-
1. No swearing.
2. No bullying.
3. No posts or posting items for sale that are not detecting related.
4. No advertising rally’s/digs from other groups unless otherwise authorised by a member of admin.
5. No spamming. Please bump old posts.
6. We will not tolerate any negativity towards us, any thing we do or our group or it’s members, there will be no 2nd chances you will be gone.
ANYONE BRAKING THE ABOVE RULES WILL BE BANNED FROM THE GROUP.
Dig rules-
1. All attending must have public liability insurance from either NCMD or FID. If possible please also email a copy to dcddevents@gmail.com.
2. Parking only where you are told.
3. All litter to be taken home with you.
4. No gate climbing or hedge hopping, use gates properly and make sure there closed behind you.
5. All holes must be filled as best as possible and rubbish removed from them (we are watching!).
6. No venturing into areas that you’ve not been told you can go.
7. All finds that may be considered treasure need to be reported to a member of admin ASAP so the FLO & Landowner can be informed. All other finds must be shown to admins for photos or posted on our Facebook group yourself.
8. Anything with a value of over £1000 must be split with the landowner.
9. Kids under 14 free if accompanied by a full paying adult.
10. Loyalty cards must be asked for or stamped at digs. They will not be back dated.
11. If your names down as going for a dig and you don’t contact me or remove your name if you cannot make it anymore, you will be banned permanently. There’s no reason why you cant inform us so excuses will be ignored.
ANYONE FOUND IGNORING THE ABOVE RULES WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED FROM THE FARM, BANNED FROM ANY FUTURE DIGS AND GROUP PERMANENTLY. NO EXCEPTIONS..
We’d love you to record any finds of interest with your local finds liaison officer, any treasure item this is required by law.
