Me and a few of my admin team arrived at Wool in Wareham on Friday evening to camp in our vehicles in preparation for Saturday’s digging and to await the arrival of the rest of the group at 8am in the morning. When we arrived, the sky had opened up and it had been raining for several hours. Thankfully, the sun came out the next morning, and we were all eager to start digging for the day.
What a stunning morning! There was 31 of us in attendance and we all set off for the day.
The grass was a little long in places but everyone was digging. Finds slowly started to appear, nothing of much age or importance, mostly victorian.
